Miyama is a tableware manufacturer in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture, where Mino ware is produced. The white porcelain clay used to make vessels is mixed with a large amount of vitreous material and fired at a high temperature of 1,340 degrees Celsius. By doing so, the vessel itself is vitrified, and it is resistant to stains, easy to wash off, and creates a beautiful porcelain surface. Miyama porcelain sanitary" was born in order to introduce a new way of living, making the most of this material to create a new type of enjoyable and tasty time like a meal.

This soap dish is perfect for small, square, and cylindrical soaps. The convex part in the shape of a branch keeps the soap from getting soaked in water, and since it is used around water, the bottom surface where it is placed against the ground is coated with glass. It is also recommended to used as a sauce or condiment dish.
